Cultural Access for Arts Organizations

VSA Florida provides workshops, resources, and technical assistance to develop or expand inclusive cultural programming as well as consultation services to museums, cultural centers, and theaters on best practices to provide barrier-free cultural arts experiences.

Workshops include:
  • Building Audiences through Access- This workshop helps facilities develop disability friendly policies and programs.  It focuses on guest services, marketing, and general disability awareness. (1-4 hours)
  • Educating for All- This workshop provides tips for developing universally-designed curriculum that allows all students to be successful in learning experiences, explores specific adaptations for including children with disabilities, and includes instruction strategies and classroom management appropriate for all students. (1-4 hours)

Workshops can also be designed to meet the specific needs of your organization.
